At hiremeout.uk, we are committed to providing a secure, transparent, and efficient payment experience for both clients (buyers) and service providers (sellers) who use our platform.

Payment Processing

All financial transactions on the platform are securely handled by Stripe, a trusted global payment processor. Stripe manages both the collection of payments from clients and the disbursement of payouts to service providers.

Please note that hiremeout.uk does not collect, process, or store any payment information directly. All payment activities, including card processing and data encryption, are securely managed through Stripe’s infrastructure.

Commission Fee

When a booking or service is confirmed, Stripe deducts a 5% service commission from the transaction. This commission is retained by hiremeout.uk to cover platform management, operational costs, and ongoing support. The remaining funds are automatically transferred to the service provider’s Stripe account, following Stripe’s payout schedule.

Payouts to Service Providers

Stripe facilitates direct payouts to service providers after deducting the platform's commission. Payout timelines may vary depending on Stripe’s policies and the provider’s bank or location. hiremeout.uk does not intervene in the disbursement process beyond facilitating the platform’s commission.

Secure Checkout Experience

All transactions conducted via the platform are encrypted and PCI-compliant. Clients can book and pay with confidence knowing their financial data is protected through Stripe’s secure payment environment.

Refunds and Disputes

Refund and cancellation policies may vary by seller, as service providers have the option to define their own refund policies for their listings or properties. We encourage clients to review the specific refund policy stated on the listing page before making a booking.

In case of a dispute or refund request, Stripe will handle the transaction in accordance with the applicable policy and financial regulations. hiremeout.uk does not process refunds directly.
